I’ve been using Cursor for coding for some time, but I finally gave Claude Code a try for this short side project: simulating the 2026 World Cup bracket to predict likely matchups for all matches, which is useful when considering which matches to potentially go to.
Here's a fun (?) addition: build a $1,000 index fund spread across all your predictions and have it recompute expected value each week based on Kalshi's markets for each game.
Hah, I think that would be a good idea if these were at all good predictions relative to the betting markets, but I doubt they are. It's pretty simplistic but I think good enough to get a sense of who might play in what match.
