I have used DuckDuckGo for many years, almost from the beginning. Like everyone else, I used Google when it first came out; it was new, simple, and focused on search, not data mining. Things changed with Google becoming a sales agent, not a search engine, and I have not even opened a Google search block in years, nor will I.

Ditto and then some. I stupidly bought a Sony TV (Google). I don't use app but it uses me!
I attribute the current privacy conundrum to two tough nuts to crack:
1. A third are MAGA, A third are anti-MAGA and a third are neither. (i.e. preferences rule)
2. I've considered switching my political registration to independent but it's just not a priority.
I am 100% DDG! BRAVO!
